Local servers & cloud
Not only is it the place store your working documents (whether teaching or admin), your local server is home to your security and anti-virus software. It’s also where you might have a centralised printing system and a centralised updating function that ensures all your networked devices (computers, tablets, printers and so on) are running on the most up-to-date software available. In primary schools, you might have separate servers for admin and curriculum tasks, or, increasingly, you might want the two systems consolidated and yet to maintain robust security and confidentiality across the two, ensuring that neither compromises the other.
If our relationships with existing schools have taught us anything, it’s that there’s no such thing as one size fits all. We’ll come to talk to you about how you can mix and match servers and storage systems to find the best solutions possible for your school and the way you work.
